Smartphone market: Samsung confirms its leading position in front of Apple
As we know, Apple and Samsung are engaged in a war without thank, both at smartphones and tablets.
In the tablet market, the iPad is still far ahead, it is not even on the smartphone market where Samsung and consequently Android confirms its wide leader:

The mobile phone market
No surprise in the rankings with Samsung lead with 29% (24% in 2011) to Nokia with 24% (30% in 2011) and Apple with 10% (7% in 2011).
Samsung and Apple continue to take market share, the Korean brand takes a significant lead over its nearest competitor. Nokia, meanwhile, is still awaiting the expected rebound with Windows mobile phone.

A market that interests us much more directly concerns the iPhone.
Again, Samsung is a large leader with 28% (20% in 2011) to Apple with 20% (19% in 2011) and Nokia with 5% (16% in 2011) as well as HTC (5% in 2012 as against 9% in 2011) and RIM (5% in 2012 against 11% in 2011).
Only Samsung and Apple progressing this year, although the Korean brand is much faster than Apple.
We can also see the big fall as Nokia's long descent into RIM continues until the release of BlackBerry 10 in early 2013 could be the card the last chance for the Canadian firm.
It will be interesting to know the numbers that integrate next Christmas known to be the most important period in terms of sales.
