Sign-in Google+: identification with the Facebook Connect

Google launches its own identification system, as already proposed Facebook and Twitter. Google hopes to get new users on its platform.

Sign-in Google+ is really an adaptation of Google Facebook Connect. This authentication service can use their account to connect with various services on the web.

This new feature will be available on iOS and Android smartphones as well as tablets. Interesting for developers, it can be used for many applications on mobile devices. When a user authenticates to an application via Google+ Sign-in, it will install the Android application for this service: the application will be allowed OTA (Over The Air), using WiFi, 3G or 4G.

The user will be notified of the data that will access third-party application, it can also control the visibility of its activities in this application. It will be possible to add circles of contact in the list to share or make private activities.
