IBM Lenovo disagree with the selling price of its x86 division

Lenovo and IBM have temporarily suspended talks on the divestiture of IBM x86 servers Lenovo. The reason resides in a dispute between the two companies on the selling price.

IBM and Lenovo Group halted negotiations for the acquisition of IBM's x86 server division by Lenovo. According to Fortune magazine, citing unnamed sources, the discussions had been suspended due to a disagreement in determining the value. But they could resume at a later date.

 For the record, two weeks ago, rumors, confirmed by Lenovo, had reported that Lenovo intends to acquire IBM's x86 server division. The information site specializing in the technology sector CRN revealed that Lenovo offered 5 to 6 billion dollars to separate this activity.
