Xbox One: the new console from Microsoft shakes habits

Microsoft has finally unveiled its new home console that given the name Xbox One and take over from the aging Xbox 360 release 8 years ago. All this things are good, but during his press conference, Microsoft did not quite unpacked. For example, there will be no backwards compatibility with Xbox 360 games because "the system is based on a different architecture,". But this is not all Microsoft buries the second hand market.

For each game purchased on physical media will be installed on the hard drive of the console and connected with a single Xbox Live account. And according to Phil Harrison, Corporate VP of Microsoft, you can lend a physical game to a friend but it will still pay to tie the game in its Windows Live account. All this is still rather obscure because prices were not disclosed.


According to Wired, Microsoft has offered some developers to create games that can rely on the computing power of the Azure cloud service rather than the hardware capabilities of the console. This also means that it will be connected to the web to play.
