YouTube: 6 billion hours of video per month

In the context of redemption aborted DailyMotion by Yahoo, the leading online video YouTube publishes figures increased by 50% over the previous year.

Figures released by YouTube confirm that all observers are predicting for years, that video traffic is increasing and YouTube captures much. Shortly after announcing more than one billion unique visitors each month, a subsidiary of Google announced that billion people watched 6 billion hours of video every month. For comparison, this figure is equivalent to 684,000 years. Last year at the same time, YouTube announced four billion hours, the increase is 50% in a year.
