Bing app devoted to health

Microsoft has unveiled "Bing Health and Fitness", an application all-in-one offering medical surveillance tools, food and sports. It will synchronize with Microsoft Health Vault to take into account other portable tools such as heart rate monitors and other digital scales.

Microsoft inserts more and more features from Windows 8, Windows Phone and Xbox in its Bing search engine. Last year, the company launched six Bing applications for Windows 8 news, finance, weather, sports, and travel cards. The publisher has announced that it is preparing on Bing Blogs two applications, one for food and one for health and fitness using the mapping capabilities and Bing search to provide personalized recommendations. This health Application Bing also allows to search for medications by name or components, see the cases in which they are prescribed and view other useful information. You can also follow the evolution of its weight, immunization schedule, blood glucose, cholesterol and its 3D maps of the body.

In addition, it offers a thousand physical exercises as well as video tutorials categorized by body part, time, type of equipment or difficulty. The Bing app also offers nutritional information on over 200,000 foods and products and to calculate the time necessary to eliminate sports.
