Xigmatek Midgard III: PC box with Qi wireless charging
Xigmatek has unveiled a new version of its PC box Midgard, which has the advantage of taking a module for wireless charging. It will be possible to recharge your smartphone compatible with Qi standard by placing it on top of the tower.
Assuming that often tower PC based under the desk, next to the user, Xigmatek has opted to integrate its recent Midgard III module of wireless charging to the specifications of Qi standard developed by the Wireless Consortium. Subject to a compatible phone (Nexus 4, Nexus 5 or Lumia 920 for example), you can load it simply, placing it on the front of the upper surface of the box.
Midgard III looks like a tower ATX format Classic bill, able to accommodate up to seven expansion cards, six hard drives or SSD and three optical drives. It also has many places for fans on the front, back and on the upper side, with the possibility to integrate a liquid cooling system (water cooling), the radiator can go up to 300 mm.
Uniformly black, it comes along with a pre-installed 120 mm fan on the rear panel, and offers a standard headphone and microphone connectors linking format jack and two USB 3.0 and two USB 2.0. Its dimensions stand at 260 x 515 x 409 mm, the tower with the possibility of installing graphics cards large (up to 330 mm) and a processor heatsink up to 160 mm. Arrival on the market within the next few weeks for less than 100 dollars.
