BlackBerry launches two smartphones of the last chance
BlackBerry (ex-RIM) launches its BB10 platform available via two smartphones, the Z10 (touchpad) and Q10 (which retains a physical keyboard).
Thorsten Heins, CEO of BlackBerry (now the name of the company, replacing former RIM) has himself introduced the latest generation of its operating system home. He admits that the choice rests with the company two years ago to adopt a different platform or start from scratch and build a fully revised and updated.
BlackBerry 10 is presented as a multitasking operating system. It is no longer necessary to go through the home screen to switch applications, all open ones being accessible from a dedicated mosaic.
