Google Maps can now guide you to your contacts

As you know, with the arrival of iOS 6, Apple has chosen to provide its own implementation plans. Instead, Google quickly responded by offering its Google Maps application (available for free here on the App Store)

Google has proposed the first update of its application that provides such guidance to your contacts.

With this new version of Google Maps, stamped 1.1, Google will simplify your search and navigation to contacts. 

Indeed, research has to be simpler and faster with a display of points of interest around you by categories such as restaurants, gas stations, hospitals or cafes.

In addition, Google Maps will be able to access your Google contacts list (by logging into your account) in order to guide you to them.

Last little novelty, you can now select the unit for distances between miles and kilometers.
