Twitter celebrates its 7 years with 200 million users
Twitter has now reached what is commonly called the age of reason. To celebrate this event, the company has posted a video that recalls the most memorable moments of his young but already given story.
The re-election of President Obama, the events of the Arab Spring, the Japanese tsunami or the 2012 Olympics without forgetting the first tweet from space: it is past things on Twitter since March 21, 2006, the day during which Jack Dorsey sent the first tweet simply titled "just setting up my twttr." A year later, it was the arrival of the hashtag (pardon the word-sign) and retweet and so on until the arrival of video service Vine recently. In this interval, Twitter has grown to 200 million users, 60 million more than the previous year, and 400 million tweets are sent daily.
