New screen 5.2 inches having a thickness of 2.2 mm

LG has introduced a 5.2-inch LCD Full HD screen smartphone with a thickness of 2.2 mm.

LG has unveiled a model Full HD screen with a diagonal of 5.2 inches with a record thickness of 2.2 mm (2.3 mm with its border), to its future high-end smartphones. According to the South Korean manufacturer, the interest of a screen as thin lies both in its grip because of its small size and weight, but also in its display quality.

"The arrival of this screen LCL Full HD, the finest in the world, is an important step for the segment of high-end smartphones," said Dr. Byeong-Koo Kim, vice president of LG at the head of the department screens. In fact, this new record bodes well for next even thinner smartphones, as may be the case with the Optimus G2, expected in August.
