Acer unveils its new Chromebook C720P

Acer unveils its new Chromebook which now includes an Intel Celeron 2955U latest generation processor based on the Haswell architecture. Chrome OS so it offers more than 8 hours of battery life for a price of  364 dollars.

After renewing its range of ultrabooks, tablets and convertible without forgetting professional machines (workstations, thin clients, etc..), The Taiwanese manufacturer released a new Chromebook called C720P, which takes over the C710.

It works in Chrome OS but displays technical characteristics far superior to the previous model. So we find an Intel Celeron 2955U processor based on Intel Haswell microarchitecture, clocked at 1.4 GHz. Acer announces 8.5 hours. Expect another 4 GB of RAM and 16 GB SSD storage only coupled as usual with 100 GB of storage on Google Drive.

C720P has a 11.6 inch LED screen (1366x768 pixels) with anti-reflective treatment, but mostly it is a multitouch model. Her hull is lighter than 30% compared to the C710. Acer also announced a start time of 7 seconds.

Connectivity level, C720P offers WiFi, Bluetooth 3.0, the jack plug, HDMI, one USB 2.0 and a second 3.0 port, plus a SDHC card reader. All for 364 dollars at the end of the month.
