Ceatec, car of the future diagnose driver
The Japanese manufacturer Alps Electric presented on Ceatec a cockpit and dashboard equipped with sensors. A facial recognition system allows the driver to start the vehicle and a set of sensors perform multiple checks before and during the trip.
Need a key to open the future car, futile to adjust the seat to the driver's seat while the recorder is a quick health check of the driver. The vehicle of the future, as seen by the Japanese Alps Electric electronics group, has a dashboard and driver cabin equipped with sensors. The manufacturer has presented the Ceatec exhibition, which runs until October 5 at Makuhari Messe exhibition center near Tokyo.
In the dashboard, an NFC sensor establishes the link between the computer system of the car and a smartphone, which in turn connects to the Internet. If during the journey, the driver must operate certain functions on the phone, he just has to move his hand. The presence of a gesture recognition system prevents the user to view the screen of the phone while driving, which incidentally, is prohibited by law in many countries.
