Motorola patents an electronic tattoo for hands-free phone
Motorola has patented an electronic tattoo sticker that is placed on the neck: it allows you to communicate in a noisy place, hands free or to detect lies.
Motorola Mobility, which is owned by Google, has filed a patent last week about an electronic tattoo: it is placed on the throat of the user. It is equipped with an electronic circuit and incorporate a microphone to communicate directly wireless Bluetooth, NFC, WiFi, or other methods of communication at close range.
This patch sticker would reduce ambient noise: the technology would reduce the "signal to noise" ratio of a sound from a voice picked up by a receiver. It would be easy to call with optimum sound quality.
Finally, this tattoo, connected to LED displays, would flash if a particular word is pronounced or the holder of the patch ment. The system is based on the same logic that traditional lie detector: Tattoo Motorola would ensure the heart rate and the possible acceleration or knee-jerk reactions.
With regard to the power of the tattoo, several options are being considered: solar energy, nanotechnology, elector-mechanical system..or even an ephemeral tattoo thrown after use.
