Microsoft launches Nokia X2, an upgraded version of smartphones based on AOSP
Just a few months after the first range X, Microsoft launched its Nokia X2, improved smartphones based on AOSP release. A way to quickly make adjustments including increasing the power of these devices, the interface continues to strongly remind Windows Phone 8.
When Nokia launched its X and XL models, many were surprised to see the manufacturer to enter the niche AOSP (Android Open Source Project). With high color interface and virtually all Microsoft services at hand, however, the goal was to reduce the noticeable gap with Windows Phone. By focusing on the entry level, with rates of 162 and 203 dollars, the manufacturer probably hoped a switch to Windows Phone 8 when the need of high-end would be felt.

Nokia still wearing through designation of the contract signed by the two companies, the newcomer is a larger and more powerful version of the first model. It is obviously larger. Its dimensions are 121.7 x 68.3 x 11.1 mm and weighs 150 grams. There is still not a 4G compatible phone, but autonomy is probably better, the battery from 1 500 to 1800 mAh. Nokia X2 is scheduled to be available in the next month in three colors: green, orange or black. Three other colors will be available later in the year: yellow, white and dark gray. Its recommended public price is 134 dollars, excluding taxes, or a little less than 163 dollars.
