DASSAULT SYSTEMES acquires SIMPACK, specializing in multi-body simulation

To enhance its 3DEXPERIENCE platform, DASSAULT SYSTEMES announces the acquisition of the Munich publisher SIMPACK multi-body simulation.

After the acquisition of Accelrys and a significant investment in NuoDB, DASSAULT SYSTEMES announced the acquisition of the German company SIMPACK, specializing in software multi-body simulation used for the analysis of mechanical or mechatronic systems. With the acquisition of this company founded in 1993 and based in Guicheng near Munich, the French publisher says it wants to expand its product portfolio computer simulation Simulia including the multibody mechatronic systems, since the virtual validation concepts to experience in real time.
